Igniting Creative Energy Challenge invites you to share your creative
actions and ideas. And there’s
more than one way to win!!
All student entries will be scored through the judging process which
will determine our national GRAND PRIZE winners. Three students and
one teacher will win a trip for two to Hawaii!!

Various local, state and national partners are providing extra awards
and recognition above and beyond the national grand prize trip. There
are three more chances for awards:
1. The
highest scoring student in each state and province will receive a
prize package valued at $1,000 U.S. If you
are a national winner, you will not be recognized as a state or province
winner.
2. A lighting project winner will be announced. The student with the
highest scoring project that addresses lighting as it related to the
theme Igniting Creative Energy will win a special prize for the student
and an energy-efficient lighting upgrade for a designated area within
his or her school. If you are a national grand prize winner, you will
not be eligible to win this award.
3. Some cities, state energy offices, and individual school districts
wanting to recognize students in their specific geographical areas
are sponsoring local challenges. Click on Local Challenges to see the
